Starbucks opens a drive-thru on Coastal Highway in Lewes

In the Lewes-Rehoboth Beach region, a fourth Starbucks, located on Coastal Highway, has opened.

In Lewes, the new Starbucks can be found at 18422 Coastal Highway, just a couple of doors down from another Starbucks inside an Acme grocery store. A second caffeine peddler’s store can be found on Route 1, as well as another on Rehoboth Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach. That’s four shops within a few miles.

The newest Starbucks is drive-thru and walk-up only. There are a half-dozen signs to direct you through the labyrinthine drive-thru path, but the office building under construction behind the store will likely make the drive-thru path more obvious once it’s completed. On the back of the building, there is a walk-up window.

Starbucks Lewes is open daily between 4:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
